Living In London I needed a more practical helmet that I can carry in my bag for times when I want to jump on a rental ebike. The big helmet I already have is really impractical to take around with me just in case I might use it. So I needed a foldable helmet and there are lots out there but the safety aspect was concerning, as to whether they would actually be strong enough in the event of an accident. I was impressed that Fend 'exceed's US CPSC and European EN1078 safety standards'. I love the ease of fitting it really well each time, (which can change if my hair is tied up), it feels really solid but not heavy and folding it up is really easy. I then bought one for my younger son who uses bikes around the city all the time but resisted wearing a helmet before because of the difficulty of what to do with it when you're not using it. He really likes the fact he can fold it away in his ruck sack and now wears his Fend every time he cycles. Then my older son, who happily wore his old helmet, when seeing how neat and strong they are has asked for a Fend as well . Knowing we are all properly protected now on the road makes me very happy.

Fits perfectly, but it took 2 weeks to get it here in Europe and cost an addition € 10 for the import tarif

Bought mine with the red tail light for my NYC ride. 10 out of 10 purchase.

Love it. Its foldable design fits easily into my backpack. The snapping sound that the lock makes when opening it is cool. Makes it feel sold. Highly recommended.

Whoever engineered the helmet has my upmost respect. It's beautifully designed and built! Easy to fold and carry around.
