Very comfortable, good-looking and very easy to keep in the backpack
Last year, I purchased a FEND One helmet for our adult son when he was visiting us from London, UK. This past summer (Aug. 3-Sept. 7, 2023), he went on a solo bicycle trip from London to Corfu, Greece via the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Albania, covering approximately 2,000 miles. He had two accidents: the first while going downhill in the Italian Alps when his front tire burst and he went straight over the handlebars and landed squarely on his FEND One (see Video) and the second, again going downhill, on a wet, gravelly road in Albania, near the end of his journey. In both accidents, his Fend One absolutely protected his head. He only had cuts and bruises and the FEND One sustained only cosmetic damage (see photo).
I would like to thank FEND for making such a well-crafted and strong helmet! My son is also extremely grateful for the protection it afforded him on his journey, and when bicycling around London. He also took advantage of FEND's excellent Accident Replacement Program and received a new FEND One so that he can continue to enjoy that protection.
