FEND One Helmet

The delivery to Germany was without any problem, and the helmet is as stylish, as functional.

We love our FEND helmets, however; we limit their use to when we travel abroad. They pack very well. Our helmets had formed a minor crack in the foam inner shell at the temple area that was not from a fall. FEND honored their accident replacement policy and replaced the helmets, only charging us for the shipping. That speaks volumes for the integrity of this company.

I want to start by saying- I love this helmet. It's great for commuting in the city and storing away in a pack/ under my desk at work. It's also easily adjustable for changes in my hairstyles or winter headgear on the go. I can't even tell you how many people see it, and are in awe of the collapsing features.

However, I will say above all else- FEND's customer service reigns supreme. I got into an accident last year, and after reporting my incident to FEND, they sent me a new helmet ASAP for free! Their team stands by that the most important thing to them is that your head stays protected! My FEND protected me from that accident- no head injuries or concussions. My bike and my tire tracked coated AirPods can't say the same!

This year, I began having difficulty with the back adjuster knob to tighten the helmet. I sent a video into their customer service team hoping there was a replacement part, and I was surprised to hear that yet again, FEND wanted to offer me a new helmet and to send my feedback to their improvement team!

These folks stand by their product through and through. My only setback is that I didn't go for the one with lights, and by the way my FEND One experience has gone, it may be years before I need to upgrade.

I have had this helmet for about two months and absolutely love it! It fits so well into my bag or when my bag is full it clips on and takes up minimal space. The locking mechanism always feels incredibly secure making me feel as safe on my ride as I feel when wearing a non-foldable helmet.

I wanted a helmet which I could pack for my travels which wouldn't take up too much space, but also be protective. They fulfilled both boxes easily. It was also not-an-eyesore, which is important too.
The only down-side is that is that it's a little heavier than my racing helmets, but it's a fair trade-off for the space it saves.
So far it has seen many adventures & I hope, many more.
