I love my new helmet! I generally wear full face helmets because I record ride videos, but I was looking for something to wear on the other days. I wanted something that was lightweight, comfortable, looked good, and collapsed into a smaller form factor so that I could put it in the storage I have on my bikes. This helmet checked off all those requirements and had a few bonus features like lights and a dope color. I’ve been using it the last 2 weeks and now I can’t imagine using anything else!
I was part of the Kickstarter to bring this amazing helmet to market. The part that drew me was that it was foldable/collapsable. For someone who practically lives out of his backpack, having a helmet that can fold down is a game changer. But being foldable sure doesn't take away from the durability - this is by far the most robust helment I've ever owned. Super solid, especially when you can dial it in!! I have no worries it won't protect my head. And the lights are just the icing on the cake.
I live in Armenia as a US Peace Corps volunteer and I teach in a village in the mountains. We have one very rough asphalt road to the village and as you can imagine, drivers are not used to bikes on the road. So, having a good helmet is essential for safety. Would love to see a child's helmet and better protection for a scooter around the ears and back of the head reducing the straps. Great helmet otherwise for biking. The airflow and lighting make it a good helmet for hot conditions and if it can hold up to the heat in the Caribbean you can sell a lot hear.
Got two of these for myself and my wife when it was the original kickstarter. Been absolutely great. Comfortable, sturdy, lightweight AND compact.
The lights are top notch on the super. Easy to control, recharge, and remove while staying solidly on the helmet.
Plus I had a bit of a fall and the replacement warranty is legit. Pay the shipping and a new helmet is on its way. And the helmet did its job perfectly. Head was fine. And enough road rash elsewhere to be thankful for the helmet! The company is great to deal with and really cares about their customers.
